ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES
The Journal of Food Research and Nutritional Sciences is an Open Access journal. Publishing an article in the Journal of Food and Nutritional Sciences Research requires Article Processing Charges (APC) that will be billed to the corresponding author following the acceptance of an article for publication. Apart from these Article Process Charges, there are no submission charges, page charges, or color charges. The APC fees to be paid following the acceptance of an article are indicated in the table below:

Any statutory charges and taxes are the responsibility of the authors, but the Editor-in-Chief will endeavour to inform the authors as far as is known.
Solicited short communications or guest editorials requested by the Editor-in-Chief will be free of charge.
Articles of substantial quality submitted by Members of the Kenya Institute of Food Science and Technology (KIFST) may be discounted if the authors request the facility at the time of submission of the manuscript, and, before the decision to publish it, is made. Manuscripts presented as solicited short communication or guest editorial must not exceed 2,000 words including references, tables and figures.
OTHER POLICIES
Refund Policy
Once an article has been accepted for publication, any Article Processing Charges on the article become due. The submitting author assumes responsibility for the Article Processing Charges, and the Journal will not issue refunds of any kind.
Trade articles or adverts
The Journal of Food and Nutritional Sciences Research welcomes trade articles from Industry payable at rates to be determined by the Editorial Board.
